Kristen and I LOVED seeing the Lumineers at Fiddler's Green Ampitheater. They put on an awesome show!
Our favorite part was when they switched to a mid-theater stage just 10 seats down from our--amazing!
We saw Muse at Red Rocks with Kristen and JR. Another amazing show with awesome music!
We saw one of our all-time favs, Nathaniel Rateliff, at Red Rocks with friends Meagan & Bob.

Georgetown Railroad & Everett Silver Mine
We had an up-close view to the steam engine on our ride to Silverton---the first car! There was lots of soot--and Sarah was so glad she wore white pants!?
The views of the mountains were gorgeous from our open car.
Linda at the mine stop.
Jacob demonstrating how to hold and turn the drill bit with the tour guide. I think the boys have a new motivation for working hard in school after learning about the kids who worked as "powder monkeys" in the mine!
We a gorgeous fall day in the mountains--the boys are already asking to go again!!

Lockheed Martin night at Elitch Gardens
Grandma, Darin and the boys had fun at Elitch Gardens.
John and Grandma weren't brave enough to go on this rollercoaster.
The merry-go-round is more their speed:-)

Grandma Bolthouse is Here!
It didn't take long for Grandma to get roped into an art project. Everyone had fun making things out of clay and then painting the dried product.
We drug Grandma up to Copper Mountain to watch Darin and the boys take an intro class at the Woodward Barn (learning how to do jumps and somersaults on skies!?)
The mountains around Copper were beautiful with golden aspens.
John is ready to live on the edge!
Jacob was a natural at doing somersaults into the pits.
Mommy and Grandma were a lot more relaxed with the batting cage than we were with ski jumping--ha!

School Grooveathon
Summit View Elementary's annual fall fundraiser "Grooveathon" was a great success. The weather was perfect and the school met its goal to raise $40,000 to fund an extra set of specials and teaching assistants for each grade:-)
Kenny & his 3rd grade classmates lined up and ready for the obstacle course. These hipsters know how to dab:-)
Kenny scaling the obstacle course
John showing off his lone front tooth and waiting for his turn to throw a ball at the dunk tank!
Jacob dunked the principal--uh oh!
Kenny and his buddy Francis.
