Scarves

Kenny was using my scarf as a towel today to clean the floor. I quickly informed him of the fashion value of scarves! He wanted to wear it after that....and my slippers...and drive his firetruck. What a little comedian. He insisted on wearing a brown scarf to go outside too.

Organized Living?

Kenny is loving his "new" room....and has spent most of the day playing in there. I was excited about the free-time this was giving me to get things done....until I saw what he'd been up do. He was a great helper putting it all away at least:-)

Kenny's Grown Up Room

This weekend was the big house rearrangement. The office furniture went into storage, the nursery furniture moved to the office, and Kenny's room was outfited with a toddler bed, dresser and toy-friendly shelves. Kenny seems to be thrilled with the changes.....let's hope he stays in bed tonight too!:-)

Winter Weather Fun

It snowed here all afternoon. Kenny and I bundled up to shovel, brush off the car and go for a ride in the sled. The fresh air was wonderful and snow beautiful!

More wedding pics

All dressed up and ready to go...what a handsome ring bearer!

Family Picture after the wedding.

Sarah and Darin's wedding day seems like a lifetime ago...but we're still smiling:-0

Kenny wasn't at all interested in kissing the bride:-(

Aunt Laura and Kenny--I think she snuck him some candy!?

Play Doh Fun

Old Fashioned Toys

Grandma & Grandpa saved lots of the toys from my siblings and me. It's amazing how cool the Fisher Price toys used to be! This little town (circa 1990) was Kenny's favorite over Christmas.

The Great Pianist

Finally getting around to the few pictures on our camera.....we managed to capture Kenny, the pianist, while in Iowa. He loved playing on Grandma & Grandpa's piano. He would play, sing, and then clap for himself (he's not lacking in self confidence--that's for sure:-)

Kenny the Ring Bearer

Sarah's Cousin Amanda was married on New Year's Day. Kenny was the ring bearer and did a great job!

He really knew how to strut his stuff down the aisle...and even escaped and made a few practice runs right before the wedding started!?
The most uniqe aspect of the reception was lighting sparklers! Sarah and Great Grandma Clara went through an entire box themselves!

Hanging Out in the WARM

We had lots of time to relax and play inside as well.

Kenny helped out with KP duty.

But hanging out in PJs and playing all morning was much more fun!

Of course his favorite past time was cuddling with Jake the dog.

Bathtime in the big claw foot tub was the highlight of every evening.

Winter Fun

The 7" of fresh snow created great fun for the days after Christmas. Grandma and Kenny took a trip via sled out to visit the cows.

Kenny also gave the tricycle a whirl in the snow (a very frustrating endeavor).

Darin and Grandpa took Kenny sledding on a COLD day. Kenny kept saying "more" even though the three were frozen after 7 runs in 30 minutes:-)

Christmas Night

Every one (except Sarah & Andrew) spent Christmas evening with the extended Erb family. Kenny was entertained by the big boxes. Darin & cousin Lily pulled Kenny around all night...what fun!

Christmas Morn

Christmas Day wasn't quite so perfect. Sarah and Andrew awoke with the stomach flu. Kenny still had a great time....

....napping with Uncle Nate.....

....playing piano with Aunt Laura....

...trying to figure out the Sit & Spin...

Christmas Eve in Iowa

It's been too long since I've blogged.....hang in there...time to play catch up:-) Starting with Christmas Eve. It was a special day with the Whattoff clan! (And picture perfect with 7" of snow falling throughout the day!

Everyone was excited to check out Sarah's belly. Aunt Becky even posed with Sarah and the twins!
