Weekend Wedding

We had a wonderful time celebrating Missy & Jason's wedding on Saturday night. Here are all of the Gronda ladies--so much beauty and intelligence all on one picture is a bit overwhelming isn't it!?:-)

The bride took some time to rub my belly. Missy was a glowing bride--such a happy day:-)

All the Gronda siblings had a photo op with the happy couple.....

.....and then the rest of the family joined in.

One last baby shower....

Linda threw the grand finale baby shower on Saturday. We were overwhelmed by more generous gifts and now we're officially set for the arrival of our baby boy. Of course Darin had to make a showing at the end, and was the muscles of the operation--loading the car. Thanks for the beautiful shower Linda!

3rd Year of Wedded Bliss:-)

Darin and I celebrated our 3rd wedding anniversary on Wednesday! He spoiled me with these beautiful roses.

Belated Birthday Bash

Life has been a little busy in the Bolthouse household, so my birthday celebration with girlfriends had to get pushed out a couple of weeks. Friday night was worth the wait:-) Kim, Amber and I had a yummy Italian dinner in the great atmosphere of D'Amatos in Royal Oak. Then we headed to the Detroit Art Institute for the Norman Rockwell exhibit---he's one of my favorites! You can't help but smile when you view his work. Thanks for the fab celebration K & A:-)

More prego pics.....

Mom & Dad are so excited to be grandparents! They insisted on a "photo shoot" after church on Sunday.

These will probably be the last pictures they take of Darin and I for quite some time---I have a feeling the camera will be pointed only at the baby when he arrives!

Puppy Love

Andrew got a yellow lab puppy a couple of weeks before our visit. He was out of town so we got to puppy-sit. It took Jake awhile to warm up to Tank, but they were buddies by the end of the weekend! (And we were ready to take Tank home:-)

Iowa Baby Shower

Darin and I made the trek back to Iowa one last time before we become parents. We had a fun weekend and were spoiled with a trunkload of generous baby gifts. Here I am, pregnant, sassy and ready for the shower:-)

Sarah & friend Erin catch up before the festivities begin.

No shower would be complete without games. This one entailed smashed candy bars in diapers--Yum! Way to go Amanda!!

Thankfully the candybar game came BEFORE the yummy food. Aunt Nancy outdid herself--the homemade caramels were "icing on the cake".

Ever wonder what boys do while the girls are at a shower? Here's Uncle Donnie and Grandpa hiding out upstairs. Thank goodness for basketball!
