Christmas #2

We leave for Iowa on Thursday morning, so we celebrated our family Christmas this evening. Kenny LOVED his Lightning McQueen RC car....although he had to wait for Darin to get it operational (aka--install batteries). Kenny is definitely at a fun age--thrilled over all of his gifts!

Over the river and through the woods....

....to the Prylow's house we go! My dear friend Kate is back from Switzerland! We ventured up to Rochester to celebrate her daughter's 3rd birthday. What a fun evening with new toys and new friends!

Christmas Celebration #1

We started the weekend before Christmas off with a Christmas Party! Grandma & Grandpa Bolthouse came over, bearing pizza and gifts. It was a fun, festive afternoon. Thanks G&G!

Christmas Crafting

Kenny and I spent some time making a santa hat Christmas card for his babysitter Melanie.

Kenny loved his first experience with Elmers glue--and didn't even eat any:-)

We both tried the hat on. Mommy looks more like Santa than Kenny:-)

Snow Day Sledding

Snow Day Snowman

Snow Day!

It's been snowing here all day! We went outside late this afternoon to build a snowman (Darin), shovel (Darin ) and sled (Sarah & Darin). Kenny helped out with the shoveling (who knew garden trowels were a year-round tool!?). The wind just started to blow, so we retreated indoors for cocoa & marshmallows (Kenny's favorite).

Play Dough Fun!

Kenny's newest craft is play dough! He loves it and asks for it after most meals. This morning he was ready to play before breakfast!

Monkey Boy

Kenny and Monkey have been inseparable this week! Kenny insisted that Monkey watch a little Sesame Street after nap on Tuesday. What a tried and true friend:-)

Here Kitty Kitty

A COLD December Thursday

It's a cold snowy day here. Do you like Kenny's self portrait?

We're thankful for the Mega Blocks our neighbor Ryan gave us. Kenny loves building with them!

We have Christmas music playing and our Christmas tree lit. It's a relaxing and cozy way to play.

He also loves standing on the empy bin--CRAZY!
