Playtime with Lucy the Cat

Kenny LOVES Lucy, and Lucy is becoming more tolerant of Kenny. Yesterday, every time Kenny saw the cat he started squeeling, "Kkkkkkk". What a smart little boy:-)

Happy Tuesday!

It was a happy day around here! Kenny slept until 9:30 this morning and awoke loving life! We played at the library, baked Daddy's birthday cake, and played at home....with a smile the whole time. It's amazing what a good night's sleep can do:-)

Doing the Worm

We call Kenny's current crawling technique "the worm". It's not pretty--but gets him around:-)

Mr. Mobile

Kenny is on the verge of both walking and crawling. This new found freedom make him happier than ever!

Growing Boy

Kenny's over 8 months old now and growing like a weed. His top two front teeth are in, which make him look more like a toddler than a baby. AND he finally fit into his fun "Zap Pow" booties from Aunt Caroline & Uncle Phil. They certainly represent his personality--he is an action-packed little boy!

Thursday Fun

Kenny & I have had a relaxing day of play....although we're looking forward to warmer temps so we can get outside! Above freezing is the first step:-)

8 Month Creeping

Kenny is 8 months old now and so close to crawling. We've really been encouraging him with lots of tummy time. It's hard work, but he's sure to love his independence once he's mobile:-)

SLEDDING!

Norwegian Heritage

Kenny, Grandma Whattoff and I drove Great Grandma & Grandpa Whattoff to visit Great Aunt Marcie on the farm where she and Grandma were raised. Marcie and Clara are 110% Norwegian (as Grandpa likes to tease). Kenny looks a little Norwegian in the sweater, don't you think?

"Here Comes Santa Claus"

Christmas Morning

We had a wonderful Christmas--it's hard to believe how quickly it passed! Darin and I relished Kenny's first Christmas morning. (I think Kenny enjoyed it as well:-)

Kenny's 1st Christmas Gift

Aunt Caroline and Uncle Phil sent us gifts from California. We didn't wait for Christmas to open them, so it was Kenny's first experience with gifts! He did pretty well with the ripping and LOVED playing with the paper:-) Thanks Phil & Caroline!
