We love Arches NP!

Arches National Park is another favorite!  We stopped and showed Grandma on the last leg of our trip home from southern California.
Thank goodness we had her with us to hold up Balanced Rock!
 Jacob took a turn too:-)

Family picture in front of "Park Avenue" before we hit the road for home.  It was a treacherous drive once we hit Colorado thanks to snow in the mountains.  We just made it through Glenwood Canyon before it was closed.  Vail Pass was closed, which meant dinner in Vail.  It reopened as we were paying the bill, and we eventually made it home (an 8 hour drive instead of 5 from Moab to Highlands Ranch).

Grand Canyon

We stopped at the South Rim of the Grand Canyon on our way home from Disney.
We hiked about 3/4 mile down to Ooh Aah Point.  It was gorgeous, but a long hike back up 3/4 mile!

DISNEYLAND!!!

The troops were at attention bright and early!  We departed the hotel at 7:15...stopped at IHOP for breakfast before walking across the street for an 8AM arrival at Disney.
Grandma Bolthouse will almost all her boys (Brad--we wish you were here too!)
Even waiting in lines are fun at Disney.  This robot entertained us in the wait for the Star Tours ride.

It's a Small World (at night).  We took a mid-afternoon break and returned to the park for night fun.  We rode on It's a Small World at 10:30PM!
Nolan was out and missed the fantastic light parade!
Buy me Mickey ears--I'm in love with Disneyland:-)

Seal Beach

We took a break from theme parks for a day at the beach!
What fun to relax in the sand and play in the surf!  (John, Jacob & Nolan)
No trip to the beach would be complete without ice cream!

"Christmas" Morning!

Santa managed to find his way to Southern California in November:-)  We had a fun morning opening presents around the Christmas tree in Todd and Deanna's room.
Todd and Darin had a shootout with the nerf guns and almost took out the hotel lamps!?
Balloons were definitely a safer bet:-)

Legoland--Kenny's dream come true

We had a great time at Legoland.  I'll never forget Kenny's excitement over the Star Wars scenes.

I'll also never forget the gut laughter over Todd and the boys getting soaked on this ride.  We had to use a giant drier when they got off the ride:-)_
 John's favorite--Bobba Fett
 Kenny's favorite (storm trooper??)

We LOVE Zion!

It's one of our favorite National Parks--ZION!  We stopped off again on our way to southern California.
