Jacob's Funny Face

This is Jacob's new funny face....now I need a video of the heavy breathing through the nose. What a funny guy!

Jacob & John....on the train

Capturing the J's was slightly easier. They're constantly in motion like their big bro, but the motion is significantly smaller. What a couple of cuties if I do say so myself.

The Boys....playing TRAIN~~~

I thought I could trick Kenny into a photo op with his brothers by playing Train. Silly me! We had fun in the process, but it was IMPOSSIBLE to get the three smiling and looking at the camera all at once! Can't wait until the babies can start eating fruit snacks--that bribe always works:-)

Let's Play Some Football!

We love the fall! The milder weather and FOOTBALL! Darin and John were watching a game together....of course it melted my heart and made me run grab the camera:-)

Outside Play

It was a beautiful weekend here. We just hung around the house and relaxed for most of it. Jacob and John love being outside in the exersaucers! And Kenny loves egging his brothers on into laughter and play.

Jacob is 6 months old!

Jacob continues to be our little brut! His gross motor skills are incredible. He's so strong and loves rolling over. He's behind his brother in fine motor skills though. Jacob's first tooth popped through TODAY. He's so laid back that we didn't even notice the teething:-) Jacob continues to be our great sleeper. He's the first to bed at night and the last awake in the morning. His newest thing is scrunching up his nose and breathing through it to make a funny face and sound. I guess we can kiss the nice smiles goodbye for awhile:-)

John is 6 months old!

John is an active little 6-month-old. He loves using his fine motor skills to play with toys. His first two teeth came in a day apart (that was a fun week:-) and he's almost sitting up on his own. John isn't too into the gross motor skills yet. He's rolled over a few times, but would just assume to lay on his back and kick. John is so social. He loves "talking" and being around other people. He's easily distracted and prefers eating while laying on his back on the floor--seriously!?

The Babies are 6 Months Old!

Where have the last 6 months gone? It seems we've been a family of 5 forever! Jacob and John are great buddies with each other and their big brother. I think Darin and I are in for some serious trouble in the future--ha ha!?

Ashes Ashes....

We had our first fall fire last week. We all enjoyed it. Kenny likes playing with the leftover sticks and ashes the next day...and decided Jacob should join in the fun--REALLY!? What am I going to do with these little trouble makers?:-)

Lame Thomas the Train

Ok...that might be a little harsh. I think we mainly discovered that we're not a character family--ha! We were all bored by the experience. And learned our lesson. Let's just hope that Jacob and John don't turn into character kids!?

Playdate

We had a fun play date at my oldest friend, Jessica's, house (we've been friends since Kindergarten:-). Two adults with 5 kids under the age of 4 had our heads spinning and made conversations fragmented to say the least! And getting a group picture was nearly impossible. May and John were game though.

Fall Festival #2

Aunt Brenda accidentally grew some pumpkins in her garden this year. She invited Kenny down to pick one. He had fun hunting for the perfect one. Grandpa helped with the picking and carrying part of the adventure!

Fall Festival #1

We met my girlfriend Erin and her kids at a local orchard. It was the most fun orchard I've ever seen! Kenny & Jack had a great time--and were in constant motion. Needless to say nap time was good that day:-)

Great Grandma & Grandpa Whattoff

Spending 2 weeks in Iowa meant lots of time to visit all the great grandparents! Somehow I didn't get any pictures with Great Gma & Gpa Erb:-( But there are lots of fun ones with Great G&G Whattoff. Kenny loves Grandma so much he even shared a fruit snack (bribe for sitting in the picture and smiling:-)

Jacob's worn out!

Jacob loved playing on the farm. Warm mornings found us on the front porch with the exersaucers. Cool mornings found us inside in the jumper. It was all too much for Jacob one day--he had to take a quick snooze:-)

Kenny's Tractor Ride

Uncle Jeff took Kenny on his first tractor ride. Kenny made Grandpa go with him--we needed a picture of Grandpa standing on the steps of the tractor!? Not sure if he's farmer material, but he sure liked steering the tractor. I think they even moved a bale of hay! Thanks Uncle Jeff!!
