Gobble Gobble...Happy Thanksgiving!

We had a wonderful Thanksgiving yesterday. We have so much to be thankful for....and the delicious food and great company were top of our list. Thanks to Angie and Linda for all their hard work in the kitchen!

Kenny's babysitter, Melanie, outdid her crafty self this year. She made a Thanksgiving banner using Kenny's hands for the feathers and his foot for the body. How clever! Everything was handstitched too. It's a Fall decoration that we'll treasure for years to come!

Iowa visit

Kenny and I had a wonderful and relaxing visit to Iowa. Grandma provided these pictures. We were too busy relaxing and playing to take many pictures.

Sooooo Tired

Are you ever so tired you can't seem to function? Kenny had that problem today. I carried him in from the car, hoping he'd awake. Then layed him on the sofa. He started to get up, but only made it this far. He slept here for about 20 more minutes!

Fall Fire

Kenny and Darin decided to build a fire on Sunday. It was a beautiful night, and a little chilly. I made Kenny wear his new winter coat--he was less than pleased!:-)

Halloween Parent Group

Our most recent parenting group meeting was at a corn maze/fall festival on Halloween Eve. It was fun to have all the kids dressed up and playing outside! And it was a great opportunity for a fall family picture!

Kenny and Keegan weren't quite sure what to make out of the mini pumpkin patch.

Darin sent Kenny down the massive slide (made out of drainage pipe. I was a little nervouse the first time, but Kenny LOVED it and went down 3 more times!

We weren't surprised that Kenny was more interested in sitting on the tractor than in participating in the Trunk or Treat. I'm sure it's just a matter of time before those priorities change (candy being #1:-)

New Mittens

Kenny turned 18 months old today....and to celebrate we bought some mittens (ha ha...just kidding:-).

We did buy mittens though, and Kenny was in love with them. He wore them to bed for his nap....tried to wear them through lunch....and decided that Monkey needed to wear mittens too.

I'm happy that he's embracing them since the cool air makes them a necessity!
