Brother Teamwork

Jacob and John "upcycled" a lego structure that Kenny started, then managed to carry it (together) across the house to show me.  Cooperation like this is rare, and melted my heart:-)

Sunday FUNday with Grandma & Grandpa!

Darin and I had two wonderful days and one night up in the mountains courtesy of my parents.  It was wonderful to come back down to warm weather and a day playing outside.
We had a fire complete with roasting hotdogs....

Of course, the fire put the boys in to firefighting mode....

Kenny and Grandpa took a break to build a lego thing (firefighting helicopter!?)

It was all hands on deck to move snow to the sledding hill.
Then the races began (I wasn't so sure about the safety of the dumptruck racing the sled!?)

We always love to see Grandma & Grandpa come, and hate to see them go.  Come back soon!

Grandma B's Valentines

The boys were so excited to receive Valentines in the mail today from Grandma Bolthouse. They're modeling the Lightning McQueen flashlights on their heads, and too intent on the spiderman stickers to look at the camera!
I even caught a Jacob jump on camera:-)
They spent the next 30 minutes stickering and markering--mommy thanks you too Grandma:-)
 Jacob being HAPPY....
 Kenny being a silly guy....
John being artistic with stickers...

Superbowl Festivities!

Trying hard to get a good shot of the boys and I before heading to church.
We must not have prayed hard enough for the Broncos:-(
We still had a fun Superbowl Party at home (Daddy was in the mountains skiing & watching the game).
Bottomless Cheetos, Guacamole & Chips, and Oreo Cookies made these boys HAPPY!

Saturday Sledding

Darin is in the mountains skiing for the weekend (perfect timing with 2' of new snow:-).  I was left in the foothills to shovel and entertain the boys!  We went sledding with friends this morning.  The boys did amazing!  Kenny pulled the sled up the hill and the J's walked up the hill without complaining.  Of course it only took 30 minutes for the cold to set in, which is a whole other kind of whining.  What a fun outing!
