Our first snow!
Winter is officially here....the first snow angels have been formed:-)
And the sleds have been fully broken in. We are blessed to have a mini sledding hill in our backyard! And a much bigger hill just a few blocks away. It's going to be a fun winter!

Budding photographers
Every time I plug my camera in, I find mysterious photos that I didn't take!? It's always fun to see life from the boys' perspective....and a camera of their own is at the top of the Christmas list:-)
We love visitors!
Our string of visitors ended with my friend Amber's visit from Michigan. We escaped for a night, but not before being photo-bombed.....
.....or posing like superheroes (which clearly comes natural to us:-).

Grandma & Grandpa Erb Spoil Us!
We had a whirlwind weekend of projects, fun and relaxing!
Grandpa (and his assistants) turned an old headboard into a coat rack and installed it in our coat closet.
Grandma had great fun with a rubber snake (the boys need to work on being a little more sneaky:-)
And no visit to Colorado is complete without a hike! We went on a bear hunt at Lair of the Bear.

Kenny's Thanksgiving Turkey
Kenny disguised his Thanksgiving turkey as Cyclops! He was extremely independent and opinionated on this project. So fun to see him engaged in his learning:-)

Who says November isn't for kite flying?
It was perfect kite-flying weather over the weekend. The boys were able to do it mostly on their own. What fun!
Happy Halloween!
The boys were so into Halloween this year! They wanted to make scary jack-o-lanterns, and decorate the yard and front porch with spider webs, skeletons and headstones! Oh my....
Good thing I had these three superheroes to protect me! Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle (Kenny), Power Ranger (Jacob), and Wolverine (John). We kept our tradition of pizza with our besties. The boys watched a Halloween Scooby-Doo while they gobbled pizza, salad, and ghost bananas.
The crew is fueled up and ready to head out!
Jacob had his trick-or-treating down to a science. He ran the entire time, would start screaming "TRICK OR TREAT" at the intersection of the sidewalk and house's front walk. What a fun night!
