He Is Risen!

 We had a fabulous day celebrating Christ's resurrection.  The boys had a backyard egg hunt before church.

 We had friends over after church...

Ski Bums!

 We had an awesome weekend skiing in the mountains.  Day 1 was a bit of a challenge.....how do you get 3 kids up a 2-person lift with only 2 adults?  Thankfully there was a family with 3 adults and 1 child (they looked at us like we were crazy, but helped out anyway:-).

 Kenny had a soccer game in the morning, so after 2 hours of afternoon skiing he was spent.  He actually laid down and fell asleep here....at the bottom of the bunny hill. 

 The best part of spending the night in the mountains?  Swimming in the outdoor heated pool of course!  The boys LOVED it....if only we could tap into their energy!

Always the responsible parent, Darin pulled a bench to the edge of the pool so they could jump from higher up!

The J's Went Birthday Shopping:-)

 Great Grandma & Grandpa Erb and Grandma Bolthouse sent money for the boys to pick out their own birthday gifts.  We had so much fun in Barnes & Noble's toy section.  Mommy guided the boys selections just a little;-)

 This firetruck has been a hit--it's a ladder truck that actually sprays water!

 This Melissa & Doug magnetic dress-up set includes all the favorites:  construction worker, firefighter, police officer, knight, and super hero.

 Melissa & Doug make an awesome birthday cake set too.  Jacob left the candles off this time!  They've been taking turns decorating the cake and then walking around singing happy birthday.  So sweet:-)

We love Pete the Cat books around here. John latched onto this Easter book in the store and wouldn't let it go.
