We drive to Iowa tonight for Uncle Andrew and Jenna's wedding over the weekend. We had a mini birthday party last night to give Jacob & John their gifts. I'm glad they won't remember this one--we didn't even have cake! Parenting fail:-0 We'll make up for it with a belated birthday party (yet to be planned) in Iowa.
Can you see Jacob's shiner? Little stinker tripped and hit his brow bone on his night stand while throwing a 2-yr-old tantrum!

Secret Hideout Fort Upgrade
Super-Daddy Darin painted the inside of the secret hideout fort with chalkboard paint. The boys (especially Kenny) had a blast drawing pictures today after lunch. I drew the outline of a Firetruck, which Kenny colored in.
Fun Mail!
Grandma Bolthouse sent birthday cards and Easter cards filled with stickers!
The boys had fun opening them, and Kenny quickly started bartering to get control of all the Transformers stickers:-)
Thank you Grandma! We love you!

Fun with friends!
Kenny and Keegan had conferences last week (different days), so we did a childcare swap. The boys loved the extra time playing together.
John is the king of the necklaces--he's an expert at layering them.
Ian was all smiles:-)
Kenny couldn't resist busting a move!
Keegan Monster!
Jacob takes his necklaces very seriously!

Wonderful Wednesday!
It's GORGEOUS here today! 60's & sunny means we've spent every possible minute outside. Happy boys & happy mama:-)
Kenny has finally embraced the true meaning of the sand table and is great at keeping the sand inside FINALLY!
John only wants to hold the camera....no smiles here.
And Jacob was caught red-handed dumping sand down the window well!
It's going to be a fun summer:-)

Our own "Parental Guidance"
We had a real-life Parental Guidance movie around here (the new movie with Bet Midler & Billy Crystal). Grandma & Grandpa were in charge on Friday and Saturday while Darin and I escaped to the mountains. EVERYONE had fun, fun!
