Jacob & John LOVE Firefighter Sam

Each time we turn on the tv, Jacob & John start begging for Firefighter Sam....it goes something like this:-)

John Denver Fans:-)

I picked up a book from the library that was an illustrated version of John Denver's Country Roads song.  It came with a cd too:-)  Needless to say--I've been putting it on "repeat" and playing it for 45 minutes stretches for the boys!  And they're to the point of fighting over who gets to hold the book.

....though I supposed I'm reinforcing it by videotaping rather than disciplining!?:-0

Sledding Fun!

Kenny was riding with Mommy while the J's had fun on their own (you can't hear Jacob screaming bloody murder the entire ride down!:-)

It's Friday and we're sledding:-)

 Darin made it home a day early from a business trip, which meant a fun family outing to the sledding hill!  Kenny LOVED every minute, but didn't want to go down alone.  Jacob and John did a couple of trips by themselves....Jacob screaming bloody murder the entire time.  He was too funny....at the bottom we would ask him if he had fun and he answered "Yes!", and then we asked if he wanted to do it again which elicited the response, "No!".  Jacob became the "pusher" at the top of the hill.  John loved every minute too--he laughed the entire way down and didn't even mind being sprayed in the face with snow. 

Wednesday afternoon....

 Not much shakin' here.....Kenny is playing firefighter (nice break from Transformers:-), and Jacob is the snack vulture...trying to sneak some of the still-sleeping John's food. 

V-Day at Preschool

 After nap turned into a session of sorting through the valentines Kenny brought home from school.  There wasn't as much candy as Halloween....but still more than I was expecting!  Loving the valentines with bubbles and erasers more:-0.  Kenny was a great big brother and shared his candy with Jacob.  Lucky for him, John was still snoozing!

Getting ready for Valentine's Day

I spent some time this morning cutting out hearts for the boys to decorate after lunch.  They really got into putting the conversation heart stickers on the valentines.  Kenny traced over the K's too....and wanted to know what each conversation heart said.  John kept trying to eat the hearts!  What a lovey bunch:-)

A house full of BOYS!

We had our good friends over for play and dinner last night.  Kristen and I held off until after the kids were done, but Darin dished his food up and joined the table full of boys. 

It's tough being almost 2!

Grandma & Grandpa Erb gave the boys this cool trike for Christmas.  John has latched onto it and does a great job driving it!
