Denver Children's Museum--AWESOME!
Great Aunt Elaine & Grandma Bolthouse accompanied us to the Denver Children's Museum. It was beyond cool! Kenny's favorite room was the fire house. Jacob & John really liked the grocery store room (though they kept trying to eat the pretend food). We all enjoyed the rainbow light exhibit. I'm pretty sure we'll be buying a family membership in the fall and playing there through the winter.
Grandma Treats
We're all missing Grandma Bolthouse, and she just left 2 hours ago!? The boys were spoiled with lots of popsicles, suckers and fruit snacks. What a life!
Busy Week with Grandma!
We had a fun, BUSY week with Grandma Bolthouse. Our grand finale day (Friday) included a hike at Lair 'O The Bear and dinner afterwards in Evergreen. All three boys love the dog sculpture (they call him Jake for Gma & Gpa Erb's old dog).

Rainy Day Distractions
We had a tough time adjusting to rainy day activities.....I introduced Jacob & John to coloring. They did pretty well...and only ate a little crayon:-)

Wild Man Jacob
Why play with toys from the safety of the floor when you can have the thrill of standing on an 18" wide dangerous surface to play? These are the questions we ask ourselves in the presence of Jacob:-)

Double Trouble
Jacob & John are at such a fun age. They are climbing on everything! I found Jacob on the TOP rung of the playhouse ladder yesterday--YIKES! It's hard to get mad when you have these faces looking back at you!
4th of July!
It was quite the festive 4th of July for us, despite the lack of fireworks. The boys and I headed to the local 4th of July festival. Kenny was in heaven climbing on the vintage firetruck. We also saw a really cool skateboading demo (Kenny now wants to learn skateboarding!?:-).
We arrived home to find Darin had assembled a mail-order gingerbread house. He and Kenny had fun decorating it. Nothing says 4th of July like a gingerbread house!? We finished off the day with a backyard bbq with friends.

Poor John
This picture perfectly sums up with weekend with John. I'm pretty sure he's cutting his top eye teeth....poor boy....doesn't deal with pain well at all! In contrast, Jacob has most of one eye tooth in with the second close behind....all without a tear or lost minute of sleep! Our boys couldn't be more different!
New sippee cups!
We've been going through sippee cups like water around here. I picked up some more...all "big boy" cups. Jacob decided he wanted to be just like Kenny and started refusing to drink out of the baby cups with handles. Let's hope these cups get us through July??:-)
