70th Anniversary Wishes

My dear Grandma & Grandpa Whattoff are celebrating their 70th wedding anniversary today! Their marriage has been such an inspiration to our family. Filled with love, laughter and adventure....congratulations Grandma & Grandpa! (It makes Darin and my 5th Anniversary in a couple of days seem like a drop in the bucket:-)

Money Man

Kenny found a dime over the weekend. We got one of his piggy banks down and showed him how to put the money in. He's now addicted--hopefully he'll love saving money his whole life!?:-)

Daddy's Home!

Paczki Day!

I'd never heard of a Paczki (pronounced "poonchki") before living in Michigan. It's the Polish way of celebrating Fat Tuesday...and is a big, fried filled donut. The babies were begging for one this morning, so Kenny and I made an outing to a local bakery. Kenny was a little overwhelmed by the treat, but enjoyed a few bites...and saying his own version of the word paczki:-)

By pushing a chair up to the counter and crawling up of course! He also loves to cut his food into pieces. So far a butter knife appeases him--whew!
