Memorial Day Memories

We had a wonderful Memorial Day weekend in Iowa attending graduation parties and visiting with family. Darin and Grandpa Whattoff enjoy each other's company....Grandpa likes to use his globe to discuss happenings around the world:-)

We also had a picnic in the Ledges. It was a hot and muggy day, but we enjoyed the delicious food and great company.

Mother's Day Delights

It was cold, cloudy Mother's Day here in Michigan....but that didn't stop us from having a wonderful Mother's Day! We celebrated with the Gronda clan. The house was warm and food plentiful thanks to our great hosts Ralph and Angie!

A Gulf Getaway

This weekend was filled with baseball! We took in a Tigers game on Friday (lost to LA) and Saturday (YAY--a win!). The weather was picture perfect.....too bad this picture leaves a bit to be desired:-)

An Iowa Fish Fry....

Signs of Spring!

Spring must be around the corner! I came home today to find two different bulbs peaking through the ground. Talk about a welcome sight after such a long and snowy winter.

Easter Skiing

Darin surprised me with a Birthday/ Anniversary/ Easter ski trip! It was the first time at Steamboat Springs, CO for each of us. We had a wonderful time! The mountain was beautiful and snow plentiful.

Now that we're back in Michigan, the skis are packed away, and I'm ANXIOUSLY awaiting spring. We hope you had a blessed Easter as well!
