Celebrating Grandpa’s Birthday in Iowa

What a treat to celebrate Grandpa’s birthday with all 4 of his Grandkids:-)

We love Michigan friends!

We met Amber & Aubrey at the DNR museum in downtown Detroit.  The interactive activities were great!  The mommies were on high alert trying to keep track of everyone.  We arrived with 4 kids and we managed to leave with the same 4 kids—whew!!

Christmas Fun in Michigan

What do you do when it’s cold and snowy in Michigan?  Sled of course!  We had fun on Grosse Ile’s new sledding hill.

Dinner with Grandma Bolthouse at Ford’s Garage in Dearborn. 

We braved to cold for Greenfield Village’s holiday nights. What a great time—ice skating, riding in a Model T, riding the carousel, and watching fireworks.

Early Christmas Festivities in Colorado

1st Ski of the Season!

Early season conditions didn’t keep us off the slopes:-). We took a day trip to Copper to get our equipment tuned in.  Any day on the mountain is a good day!
