This Mother’s Day was the sweetest yet! Operation “Breakfast in Bed” commenced at 6AM with military precision. It was so entertaining to hear the boys working together to prepare a feast. Jacob brewed my latte, Kenny prepped cereal, John peeled a cutie, and Darin made an egg sandwich. Panic set in just before serving—-“Let’s cut an apple too!” I barely made a dent in the feast:-).
After breakfast in bed, the boys presented me with cards and homemade gifts. Kenny’s inscription read, “I don’t no what I would do without you.” (I often wonder the same thing🤣). Jacob declared that he loved me from the top of my head to the bottom of my toes. John’s card was a mini novel with “I like you because...” starting each sentence.

Jacob’s homemade gift bag featured a scene of us camping and being attacked by a bear—oh my!
In the midst of a relaxing morning, there was a paper airplane crisis that included the indoor use of a leaf blower—never a dull moment😜
We attempted operation picture before church.

This is as good as it gets—maybe we’ll opt for a professional photography session next year!?
