Saying Goodbye:-(

It's been a hard week of goodbyes as we prepare to move to Colorado. Kenny has spent three days a week for the past 1.5 years with the Allbery's.....and Sarah has spent countless hours hanging out with Amber. We're not sure if Colorado will be worth leaving such treasured friends!?

Easter/Baptism/Birthday...OH MY!

We had a very busy day on Sunday! Jacob & John were baptized, we celebrated Easter AND we celebrated Kenny turning two with a Cars Birthday Cake (Lightning McQueen and Mator score big points in our house these days:-)

Workout Time!

The boys were both awake and ready to play in the floor gym. We looke forward to much more of that in the future!

We've been enjoying the start of baseball season-and the coordinating baseball outfits for the babies.

A Wet Walk

We've been desperate to get outside--this spring weather has not been cooperating! We thought there had been a break in the drizzle, so headed out for a walk. We were wrong, but enjoyed the fresh, wet air anyway!

1 Month Ago...

It's hard to fathom how much our lives have changed in one month's time. It seems like Jacob and John have been around forever! They're healthy and happy boys and celebrating their one month birthday!

A day in the life.....

Life around here is crazy....trying to talk Kenny into sitting on the potty (popsicle bribes seem to work best:-), and keeping Jacob & John entertained keeps us hopping! We're figuring out new tricks every day (the floor gym is a new favorite--for Jacob anyway).

Our Little Super Heroes!

We've been singing the Batman song all day around here. Is there a Superman song? We keep telling Kenny that Superman can fly--that may not be the wisest idea!? It's a fun distraction on this cool spring day though.

3 wks Old!

It's hard to believe the twins are already 3 weeks old....although it seems like a lifetime since we've gotten a full night's sleep. The boys are doing great! They were at the doctor's to check on their colds. Jacob weighs 8lbs 6 oz now, and John weighs 8 lbs 2 oz. They're spending more time awake now, which gives us a chance to gaze into their amazing little eyes! We are blessed to have two happy, healthy, growing baby boys!

Best Buddies

Jacob & John don't seem to sense the other's presence...but they aren't bothered by each other's crying either (thank goodness!). If sitting side by side, they usually try to eat each other! Hopefully this is a sign of good things to come:-)

Busy Saturday...

It was a busy Saturday around here...despite the fact that Kenny was visiting G&G Bolthouse for the weekend! We had a house showing in the morning....friends Mike & Alexis stopped by to meet Jacob & John.....and we were busy steaming Jacob most of the day. The poor boy ended up catching the cold we all had last week:-( The steam seems to do wonders for his congestion--and skin! Let's hope it clears up soon!

Watching Cars

Kenny LOVES the movie Cars. In fact, during each prayer, he is sure to thank God for Cars too!:-) It was a busy day yesterday with the boys 2-wk check-up, so we took a much needed afternoon break in front of the tv (watching Cars of course). Jacob & John are doing great! They weighed in at 8lbs 1 oz and 7lbs 6 oz respectively. Lengths were 20.5" and 20.25".

Monday Madness!

Actually it's been a pretty good Monday, despite the rain.

The warm and cozy outfits that Aunt Nancy sent are perfect for today's cool wet weather. If only I had one too!? Thanks Nancy!
